Quite correct and exactly like the Mac 1 Turbo.
Its rarely the manufacturer who tries to oversell a detector but some users.
I've now got a second Whites DF to test as the first could only manage two thirds of the often quoted wet sand depths but I don't expect there will be much difference. The manufacturers go mad when fantastic depths are quoted and there's an immediate upsurge in sales followed by the inevitable disappointment with people wondering if their new machine is up to spec. or a lemon.
Perhaps the manufacturers should return to the old practise of providing air test results at pre set positions as Fisher, Whites etc did at one time.
