Your publication really helped out. I still refer to it all the time.
This year has left me with no time to hunt at all. I finally got out today for the first time since the thaw. The MI took a few minutes to set up but once rolling it was hauling out the goodies. It seems to have no issues at all finding modern, Canadian coinage whereas other units can be hit and miss. Those Loonies and Twonies really hit the high notes.
I setup the coinselect both ways and found no difference but you are right you have to watch out that you are not setting it up as an ignore window.
Thanks for the private email and the added info for the field test. To see the MI remade with SMT components and what not to get the weight down would be awesome. As the fall sets in we are going to dump the audio to the laptop and see if we can get similar results that we did last year with other machines. Here is the coolest thing that we saw on some machines. You could actually tell if it was aluminum....
