A good machine at the price point they sell at but at the Rally I was at this weekend it did not outperform a F75 with its smaller coil and my old Nautilus with 8" coil was far deeper.
The owner had only had a couple of beach sessions and said it suffered the normal single frequency drawbacks on the wet. He was going to keep his Explorer SE Pro for both beach and pasture use.
The important thing is that with the pound in the pits most machine prices are at a historical high whilst the Mask offers excellent performance whilst undercutting XP/Tesoro etc by a few hundred.
The rechargable system could be a problem for those who go away for a few days at a time without access to mains electricity. I should think it could be the next modification after the expansion of the discrimination range.
