Europe must have low minerals in the soil.

I have owned Red Heat, Cscope, Nexus, XP detectors and all worked well until I tried to use them in ground with high iron minerals. Our hot and cold rocks drove them crazy. Iron target discrimination was great. What type of soil do you guys hunt in?
