Mark One depth mod

There was a friend of mine on another forum naed Rob looking for the depth mod for the Mark One. I sent him a link to this site but wondered myself if info has ever been posted by George or Reg? I know George helped Scott with the 9 volt battery mod but did not know if they have ever talked about the depth mod or if it even works? Now I am curious myself and told Rob the guys on here are great and someone would answer his question at least.
