The Fisher F-2/F-4 DD coil will work with the 5900 Di-Pro SL, The kHz are almost the same but it does ID targets higher especially quarters, Lower conductive targets slightly ID higher but not as much as higher conductive targets will. After adjusting the meter, Nickels will ID about the same, pennies/dimes read a bit higher but still ID near penny/dime range and quarters will come in way off the scale between half and dollar range even after the meter adjustment. Because target ID is reading higher the discrimination control will need a sight increase on disc to knock out iron, Otherwise it will work if you don't mine digging higher conductive targets reading higher on the meter. The only area I would use a Fisher F-2/F-4 DD coil with the 5900 Di-Pro would be in extremely bad ground and as a relic detector of course were you dig everything above iron, Otherwise don't use this coil as a coin shooter unless you don't mind digging quarters in the half & dollar range. Plus, The DD will loose sensitivity on tiny targets such as ear ring studs and such and loose some depth. But, In bad ground you don't need depth you need a coil that will help the machine penetrate tough soil which is what a DD does. Forgot to mention, You need to make a coil adaptor for the fisher DD to work with Whites. Paul (Ca)
