The reason I purchased a V3 was the hope it could "see" good targets near deep iron better while not falsing on such deep iron. While my Explorer does a great job finding deep goodies, I still go after a lot of deep iron falses as well. I haven't had much time to test and tweak the V3 but hope it does better in those deep rusty iron/non ferrous situations than other currently available top of the line detectors. Another hope is it has improved Recovery Speed over my old DFX. Maybe not as fast as the F75 but hopefully faster than the DFX. I find the Explorer unusual in that it can find good stuff in between trash (with stock 10 1/2" coil) even with it's slow Recovery Speed but it's slow going for me in sorting it all out. Any feedback would be appreciated.......
