Thanks Jerry...Good summary of your experience. What do you think of the weight and balance of the V3 after swinging it for hours? I emailed White's to ask how heavy the V3 actually was with batteries installed and they have not answered me yet and it's been a week or so. They seem to not give that info up anywhere in their on-line specs. I've researched around and it appears to be 4.5 pounds which is quite heavy for detectors lately. What's your eyesight like and can you read the display without glasses in the field?
