"Why" right now is because White's has no large coil. I'd like a 16" round also. Right now White's would need a new mold though. There is the old 15" mold but it would be too heavy compared to today's new coils. The new Coiltek 16" Goldstalker round mono or Nugget Finder 16" Advantage round mono are it for now, and both are very expensive. But they are both very light for their size.
One primary advantage to having a PI is the ability to run large coils. White's should produce at least one. Problem right now with the economy is that it is not a good time for capital outlays.
