At this time in 2004, Your life was coming to end.
I had no idea, that you suffered from the same thing my son suffered from. . .Asthma. . .what a terrible disease.
The week starts Sunday, on the Monday before Thanksgiving, I would be informed of your passing.
My thoughts were when we would walk down Main Street in the "Harbor"...was it that long ago?
I'm getting older by the day and this will be just another Thanksgiving Day.
Maybe I should be thankful that I have all my grandchildren to keep me company.
Sad, it isn't our grandchildren.
But like you told a few months before your life was to end;
"At least we're still friends!"
Yes, we will always be friends.
Maybe this is just the foolishness of an old man.
