My Marine Corps Birthday ball on the web
Than on Monday we celebrate Veterans Day.
Its sad that many veterans are dying daily, and the stories of their deeds is going with them, many never wanted to remember the horrors they saw or were part of, for many those would come back in a dream or a nightmare.
Many just drank their life away, because they had no one that could understand the insanity, we call war.
Many would never wish a war on any generation that followed them.
We honor the warriors but we detest war an insanity that plagues man since the recording of time.
After that come Thanksgiving Day, this year I'm monitoring my weight on a blog that I created.
Its located here
The reason, I'm doing this is to try and keep my weight down because in the 2 months at the end the year.
Americans put on more weight than all of the rest of the year.
If you're working, there a party before a Holiday at this time of the year, where there's eating and drinking
Than you eat and drink on the Holiday itself at home if you're off.
This the reason why Americans put on so much weight in these last two months of the year.
Well so much about all that, Happy Marine Corps Birthday to my fellow Marines.
May you remember the veterans of this great nation.
Happy Thanksgiving don't eat or drink too much!
Semper Fidelis
