We're left with this question; We're also left with the question; One Marine stated years later; As a veteran of the Vietnam War, these revelations have me rethinking the "WHY" of it all. "And the truth shall set thee free" Semper Fidelis
Daniel Ellsberg as a 2nd Lt in the Marine Corps
Is Daniel Ellsberg a true patriot or was he a traitor because he released the papers that came to be known as "The Pentagon Papers".
Might he saved many lifes if he had an knowledge that we were getting into a war.
Who's only ending would be defeat or stalemate.
Was "Stalemate" the end game that we were seeking in Vietnam?
He being Daniel Ellsberg says that he father taught him this line;
"And the truth shall set thee free"
But what might the "Truth" be?
"For those men, I murdered, for those men I was willing to lay my life on the line".
But those men were or had been lying for over thirty years or more, from Truman to Nixion.
The deaths of many rest on the leaders of this Nation.
Who had lied to this Nation.
