The war in Iraq has been declared at end, but the dying keeps going on.
Where will it ever end?
This month, we celebrate our Independance on the 4th of July.
Some Iraq are just tasting freedom for the first time.
Others are trying to derail freedom, to continue a government based on religion.
That religion doesn't allow for any others.
Women are subject to punishment if caught talking to another male, if he isn't husband or kin.
They were under a some form of government of religion for over a thousand some years.
It will take sometime for the ideas of freedom to sink in.
We pray for all our service people caught in harms way.

you should never wish to do less."

It must be forged, tested and used.
It must be passed down.
And woven into the very fabric of our souls.
Until it becomes our nature."
