Hi Jack,
Thanks for relating your experience with the result being Deering paying for the full cost of your Vega's neck's repair. The only way this story could've been better is if the service staff didn't hem and haw in the first place and tried to go halves on the repair cost. At least when Janet got wind of your problem it was taken care of and that's the way it should be!
I've had a couple of repairs to Martins over the years and they never batted an eye over the repairs--all done on their dime too!
I think we're fortunate to have such good companies making and standing behind their excellent instruments!
