Glad I (and Russ) could be there for you. It was a very moving service and after hearing all the stories I'm sorry I never met your father, it sounded like he was quite a guy. I've always heard that rain on the day of a funeral means the loved one has gone directly to heaven. The way it was coming down by the end of the service, I'm sure your Dad had an EZ-Pass through the pearly gates. Your grandson is beautiful. Even on such a sad day, you were absolutely beaming when you had him in your arms.
We couldn't stay the whole afternoon, but on the way back, since we were so close we did stop at Stutzman's and - although I didn't go there intending to- I bought myself a mandolin (actually a used Tacoma mando). But I'll put up a post about that later.
