Congrats Norm!
I love my HD-28. It took about a year and half for it to start to open up, and although it sounded great before then it sounds incredible now. I also started using medium gauge strings on it and it really booms. Couple times I've taken it to sessions at the Shannon Pub and it just overwelmed every other guitar being played in the circle.
