Enjoy Norm!
Some of you may recall me talking about trading in my J-40 a while (a looooong while) back. Well, I finally did and got me a brand new HD-28V a few weeks ago. I think the basic tonal difference vs. the HD-28 comes from the forward shifted, scalloped standard "X" bracing which makes the V sound somewhat louder. I thought I would lose the great sound of the J-40 with the trade but I was wrong. This baby booms! And, I'm much happier with the D body shape and the vintage appointments, in general. The modified V-neck fits me perfectly, for both finger picking and strumming. I'm very happy.
Regards, Mark
P.S. I was going to attach a couple of photos from my PC, but gave up after a couple of failed tries. How do you do that?
