Dunno, Robert. If you read the website comments, it appears it is an acquired skill to use it (esp in combo with the 5 above it, minus the high "E"). I think it might be really useful for someone much more apt than moi.
I guess my point is the continuing evolution we see in luthery. Some are dismissable; some not. This? Well, I could see getting a "semi-12" (9 string) from Taylor I guess, but frankly, I'd prefer ALL 12!
