Thanks to you also for the welcome and the invite to drop in now and again. I will try to do that. You are correct in that I've been lurking in the weeds for awhile. No hidden agenda though. What you see is what you get although I must warn y'all that I have a zany sense of humor and you will just never know when that will break through. This board is just ripe for some of that and I'm wringing my hands in glee.
I live in Northern California, about 30 miles east of San Francisco.
I've been trying to find a Taylor 9 String but the closest targeted stocking dealer is McCabes down in Santa Monica. That's about a 6 hour drive so I will probably look for a plan B.
Time permitting, I may respond to some of your earlier posts, especially the one about modern innovations. That is a post begging for creative serious response so I may give it a go. I can be clear right now that under no circumstances can I ever accept the concept that tone woods are a gimmick. Stay tuned, news at 11.
