Hi Sandy,
Just let me say the board is wide open for anything musical that you may wish to post about. Humour is always welcome as are any heartfelt personal beliefs based on experience and tempered with logic and reasoning. I think some of the Taylor bashing that's gone down on the board has been tongue-in-cheek but even if a person truly believes Taylors suck, well they can post that too.
My local Rochester, New York Taylor dealer, Stutzman's Guitar Center, has two Taylor 35th Anniversary models on order. I asked Dave Stutzman which models they were and he couldn't recall what he'd ordered. After looking over the 35th Anniversary Models, I'm thinking one of them just may be a 9-string axe. I'll find out more today when I stop in at the store. Next week is Stutzman's Annual Garage Sale in which he marks-down most of his stock. I'm hoping the 35th Anniversary guitars are in by then and maybe I'll see what kind of deal I can strike!

If you're thinking of buying a Taylor, you may already be aware of Guitar Rodeo, in Minneapolis. They deal at 40% Off List Price and also have a 100% trade-in policy for former guitar purchases when applied to a new guitar. The only additional cost is a flat fee of $25 for shipping/insurance. Guitar Rodeo verifies that each Taylor meets factory specifications for action height but the purchaser is responsible for having the guitar setup to their own preferences which is usually a $50 to $60 fee at a local Taylor dealer. Still, a customer can save hundreds of dollars compared to most dealers 25% Off List Price Taylor pricing. I've included a link to their website.
Regards,
Ken
