What I know about electrics wouldn't fill a thimble. A UST or Baggs I-Beam is the closest I've been to an electric. However, knowing as little as I do, I decided should I become filthy rich (HAH!) and wanted an electric, the Les Paul's have always impressed me as exceptionally versatile. So, if Hamer makes something like those, and they play better...sounds like a plan to me! The 12th fret does a fair biz with PRS guitars--they seem quite pricey, but lusted after. Again, don't rely on me in any way for advice on electrics. If someone hands me one, I'll likely play "Gloria," or "Tom Dooley." Who knows...
