I have been very happy with my Shubb. I believe there were two different lengths of Shubb capos made and I have the longer of the two. I am not sure if the longer length is still made. I installed it myself but my banjo is a well-used Deering long neck - if I had a new instrument in pristine condition I might have a pro do the installation.
Whatever you do, good luck and happy picking and/or frailing.
