Ditto to Ken. Steve also has some great vintage background info. Martin more than "righted the ship" since then, and is turning out some of the best stuff likely in its history--so much so, that I played a new D-18 Authentic (or GE--sorry don't recall which) next to a 1936 or 37 D-18 with tons of "mojo" and scarring, and that new one was pretty much its match sonically. That says a lot about the kind of quality the boys/girls at Nazareth are putting into their builds! BTW, not ALL those '70's-early '80's were dawgs. Ya just have to be really choosy and play 'em good and hard FIRST.
