I've played Martin guitars since my first purchase in 1964 as a freshman in college. Over the years, I've been through many Dreadnaughts and 000 size Martins.
My lastest purchase is a...........Collings! Yep, thought I'd try one. Bought the D2HA (adirondack top) and it's pretting a amazing instrument. The workmanship, as expected, is flawless and the sound is superb. Bill Collings knows his stuff.
If you ever get the chance to try one out, do yourself a favor and go for it.
Don't get me wrong, I'm still a Martin lover. In fact, I have a custom 000-28 on order and due in Feb or March and my faithful HD28V.
