No problem from me in your not buying another Martin! Once players make that leap, they realize there's more to great guitar tone than just Martins. I think many brands offer great tonal alternatives to Martin's in that their tones aren't necessarily better but different. All high-end guitar brands sound good and I think a player who comes to know this can enjoy the varied tonal palette different brands offer.
I like to think we've all moved beyond the Ford vs. Chevy type of brand loyalty that many may have held over the years when it comes to embracing one guitar brand over another.
