After 42 years as a behind the scenes dealer's mentor who sees most of the US market angles, we have experienced a lot of so-called "collectible" instruments. Please take heed

It seems several other companies have targeted this same limited niche market at half the price and will get it soon. The new Taylor 9-String Acoustic-Electric Guitar is not selling and those dealers who stocked them would be wise to get rid of them quickly if all all possible; cut and run is the name of the game here.
