Vince Gill is a super performer whose country/country-rock/bluegrass/old-tymey musical singing and instrumental skills have endeared him to many fans. Sadly, he's slid out of the crosshairs of the hit-making Nashville Country Music Machine that generally purveys pop-rock-country as the music with which to target new audiences. Perhaps, some of this new audience will be curious to hear what is a treasure trove of good music that resides with more traditionally-based elements within the country music subgenres? Vince Gill, Hank Williams, Dwight Yoakum and many others come to mind as candidates for the musical-mind expansion of many of the newer country music listeners.
Folk On!
