Thanks for the link, Paul. He did a nice job of giving a big nod to the KT, which is sorely lacking generally speaking in the media.
I remember one of the first times I posted here about Steve being a really fine player, and a couple of guys thought I was kidding. I've been hooked on Steve's playing since he did this 50-50% album back in the 80's entitled "The Steve Martin Brothers." I don't even know if it's out on CD, but side 1 was all comedy, side 2 some serious picking, and some serious guests like John McEuen, and IIRC, maybe Bela as well.
He definitely has the chops, and I'm kind of amazed he isn't a bit more bold with his own abilities. You don't get kudos from Bela Fleck or Tony Trishka for being run-of-the-mill. Great article.
