
Posted by Bob After you get to the point where your phone displays Type?Loop Start DTMF, hit the up or down arrow keys until you get to the one for CLID?DSP. If it doesn't say DSP, hit the '1' key and then the HOLD key to change it to that. Repeat for every trunk line that has caller ID. Be aware that some phone companies don't provide an adequate caller id signal that the DSP can recognize. If this is the case, you'll have to contact NEC thru your dealer to get caller id daughterboards for your trunk cards.

It would be very useful for you to download the DS2000 Software Manual, an 800+ page document that covers this and other subjects in step-by-step detail.
