Hello,
I'm having a bit of an issue with getting voicemail emails to work properly, or the SMTP server settings to test successfully for that matter.
For starters, email notification is turned on for all the appropriate stations under the intramail tab and the email addresses are correct.
The original plan was to use our mail server, but since I had issues with that I decided I would try a gmail account for testing purposes as it is one of the recommended choices in the software manual.
Whenever I test, the test fails with "SMTP Send Failed: No response in alotted time." The settings are as the manual states for gmail. SMTP: smtp.gmail.com. Port: 465. Encrypted and Authentication are checked. The settings I used for the company email server are the standard ones that work without issue from any desktop.
The IP address the device is pulling is reserved in the router by it's MAC address. I've tried more than one just to make sure no one has set another device on the network statically to that IP. Other computers on the network have no issue with accessing the internet with the settings the DHCP server is giving out, or else I would have an entirely different and more widespread issue.
I have tried connecting to the device via both Ethernet and USB.
I feel like I must be missing a very obvious setting somewhere else in the system.
Has anyone experienced this before? Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks in advance for your assistance.
