I'm a newbie and apologize if I sound too new... I've spent the last few days searching through the programming manual, have pulled the rest of my hair out, so now I'm reaching out for help.
[Some background info]
I just upgraded our NEC DSX-80 with a PRI card, IntraMail, and a DSS-60 switchboard.
Presently, when the "operator" (he has a 60 Button DSS Console and a telephone) takes a call at his desk, and transfers the call to an extension that is busy, that call goes back to the operator (and he is getting swamped).
[The question]
Is there a way to have a call ring the operator four times, if he doesn't answer, then it goes to Ring Group, rings the extensions in the Ring Group four times, and if there is no answer, goes to a group/master VoiceMail?
I would greatly appreciate any responses, and by no means looking to have an answer spoon-fed to me... just a point into the right direction.
