Installing Caller ID daughterboard

We just bought a DS2000 80013 Caller ID daughterboard on eBay for next to nothing to improve CID detection on our 8ATRU board.

After removing the shunts, attaching the CID board and reinstalling, the board is not recognized by the system (no mention of it in the startup msgs), and I have a solid yellow LED on the 8ATRU card.

If I remove the CID, reattach the shunts and reinstall, the 8ATRU is recognized.

Am I doing anything wrong here, or is this the sign of a DOA CID board?
