Posted by Aenima Ok, I am kinda back. I am back on the web, but I am not back on UO... well, not exactly. Here is the deal, I am not playing OSI's UO, but I DID make my own shard. One in which I can control everything from NPC's saying what I want, to quests going exactly as they should. No PK's... no looting... ahhhh, its UO without the O. Although my world is still being constructed, it is open at most times, (like 9 AM to about midnight) to be logged onto. And everyone that knows my name, is able to log on. See, you don't need a UO account to log in, but it IS UO. All you need is Ultima Online, atleast T2A or better, and updated to the newest version of UO, 3.0.8q is the newest I believe. then you will need a program called UO gateway. When you have those two things, email me at: PcParamedics@nwinfo.net and Tell me: Keep in mind, right now, this is a test, the monsters are not set to OSI standards... for instance, deer, and most mammals RUN when you hit them, not walk, they scoot. Monsters don't give you a chance, they hit hard... and if they have magic, they are intelligent enough to use it at a distance, instead of walking right up to you. Lastly... your characters may not be around long... the Emulator I use is updated a lot, and when it is updated, I wipe it clean to get a better idea of what has changed, and what hasn't. Its exactly like the UO test servers, i.e. set str 100 So its no biggie if you lose your "stuff". Anyway, its good to post again!
