This has nothing to do with windsurfing, fishing, "hardy surf fun" at ALL!
Mike and Rose have gone the extra mile (and then some) to re-home a dog they happen to care for - the Boxer breed.
They heard of a Boxer from San Francisco who had been shuttled to Oregon because of his owner's bad health.
Huey was living his life on a chain, outdoors, 24/7. If you know Boxers at all - they are not an outdoor breed. Always ready for a romp, a walk and an outing but craving a soft warm place to hang out the rest of the time.
Mike and Rose contacted several people in their area....and even OUT of their area.
Folks in Waldport, Bandon, California and Texas were trying to find a better situation for Huey.
We were working......and may have found a proper Boxer home - but in the meantime, Mike and Rose swooped in, met Huey, found out all about his past and brought him into their warm, dog friendly home.
As often happens with "dog people" - Huey was so comfortable and happy to be in the proper home he wrapped Mike and Rose around his paw.
We no longer needed to search 3 states for a forever home for Huey - he found it as soon as Mike and Rose heard about him.
