In the pics on line it looks like the good SUP'ers are using shorter boards I was wondering to save money and be cheap if a oerson could simply use a long board say 9 to 11 feet (maybe even rent one} and knee paddle out with a kayak paddel??????? I noticed it dosnt take much board speed for my 9 foot soft top to become stable. But I would need to borrow a kayak paddle to try it.
