Hi Sharon ~ The only John Schmale I have found in my research was born in 1781 in Ruscombmanor Twp, Berks Co m Mary Yokum. John's father was Conrad Schmale, no further info. John had a brother Jonas, my line. Unfortunately that's all I have on a John Schmale.
I do wish we had a connection though! Sorry I wasn't much help.
