Im searching for information concerning my gr gr gr Grandfather Johannes Scheib later known as John Shipe.He resided in Lancaster County, PA until about 1800 when he and his family migrated to Mount Pleasant Twp.,Westmoreland Co., PA. He was married to Catharina (Catherine) and had nine children:Catherine, John Henry, Henry, Mathias, Abraham, Mary Emily, Susanna,Isaac, and Margaret.
He died July 24, 1838 in Mt. Pleasant Twp., Westmoreland Co., PA and is buried there. E-mail me Tom Shipe profshipe@aol.com
