Looking for information on Francis Caughey and wife Jean Scott who settled in Barttownship, Lancaster Co.,PA. after 1762 and before 1785. Also information on the family of Elizabeth Kerr, who married their son, John Caughey ( SR.) in 1785 in Barttownship and stayed there until they died.
They were members of the Middle Octorara Presbyterian Church in what is now Quarrysville. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. We have been looking for Elizabeths siblings and parents for 5 decades.
