I would try searching all the databases on our site pages as follows: http://www.cproots.com/11searchdown.htm & http://www.cproots.com/genseng.htm & http://www.cproots.com/genfreesearch.htm
This may yield you a clue.
Also I don't know if you're from that area. But if you are, try the local library. Many libraries carry census record on microfiche and CD-ROMS and other genealogy records for their states and counties.

There are some valuable links here to start your search as well. There are county links there and vital records section, they will tell you were to write or e-mail for information you desire. Also on this page is the states family mysteries area (red star beside it).
