According to our Hallock Family Bible, my g/grandfather, Lorenzo Dow Hallock was born July 26, 1852, in Parrytown/Perrytown, Pa. No one seems to know where this city was, township, county, etc. I am anxious to get info on above due to the fact that Lorenzo's parents, Benjamin and Elizabeth and siblings were all Canadian citizens and lived in North Grey County, ONT. He was born, I believe, while his parents were visiting a relative or friend in Pa. thus making him a US citizen by birth. His son, my grandfather, Alfred Dow Hallock although also born in Ont., became a US citizen in 1950 out of the Detroit District Court due to Lorenzo's unusual birthright. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Perhaps then I can stop banging my head against the wall and find out where he was born and continue with my research of my Hallock lineage.
