Posted by Rick There are some valuable links here to start your search as well. There are county links there and vital records section, they will tell you were to write or e-mail for information you desire. Also on this page is the states family mysteries area (red star beside it). Rick Webmaster

Hello
I would try searching all the databases on our site pages as follows: http://www.cproots.com/genfreesearch.htm & http://www.cproots.com/genseng.htm & http://www.cproots.com/genfreesearch1.htm
This may yield you a clue.
Also I don't know if you're from that area. But if you are, try the local library. Many libraries carry census record on microfiche and CD-ROMS and other genealogy records for their states and counties.
Next try our Pa. Site page at this link: http://www.cproots.com/stateresourcecenters/strpennylvania.htm
See if anyone has posted something linking your relations. If not, post one yourself and will see how that goes.
Help support our site and don't forget to look over all the great genealogy items in our store at this link http://www.cproots.com/store/storedirectory.htm

: According to our Hallock Family Bible, my
: g/grandfather, Lorenzo Dow Hallock was
: born July 26, 1852, in
: Parrytown/Perrytown, Pa. No one seems to
: know where this city was, township,
: county, etc. I am anxious to get info on
: above due to the fact that Lorenzo's
: parents, Benjamin and Elizabeth and
: siblings were all Canadian citizens and
: lived in North Grey County, ONT. He was
: born, I believe, while his parents were
: visiting a relative or friend in Pa. thus
: making him a US citizen by birth. His
: son, my grandfather, Alfred Dow Hallock
: although also born in Ont., became a US
: citizen in 1950 out of the Detroit
: District Court due to Lorenzo's unusual
: birthright. Any information would be
: greatly appreciated. Perhaps then I can
: stop banging my head against the wall and
: find out where he was born and continue
: with my research of my Hallock lineage.
: Thank you BEV-MI
