To all of our PSA Members, and others who visit this board: This board has been a great asset to all those interested in PSA and other dog sports over the years. However, in an effort to bring more interaction to the PSA community, we have adopted a new PSA Message board. This new board includes several benefits that we think you will all enjoy: 1. The first is that there are different sections for different type threads: health and behavior threads would go in that section; training questions will go in that section, there is an events section, marketplace for breeding, etc. We are certain that you will find an appropriate area to post your messages. 2. There is also ability to do Private Messages on the board...it's a bit like email that will allow members of the board to send private messages to each other. 3. You can also attach documents to posts and private messages. As a note, you must use the [IMG] tags on a tool like Photobucket (or other photo hosting site) to post pictures, and pictures can not be larger than 500 pixels (on the longest side). If you are using photobucket, you want to upload pics using the "medium" option. 3. Next, threads with recent posts stay at the top. So, if you "resurrect" a thread that has been dead for a few days, it will actually move up to the top so that it grabs people's attention again (rather than on the current board, where you have to scroll down to see threads that were started last week, even if someone just posted today). 4. There is a post count for each person, giving them fun little rankings (i.e., "Just whelped" when you first join; all the way up to Level 3 when you have over 2000 posts). 5. You can have "signatures" and "avatars" for yourself - so that they will show up when a you post. 6. PSA Members will also have access to an exclusive PSA Member area that will allow you to see exclusive videos and scenarios. PSA Membership will be confirmed before you are given access to this exclusive area. 7. As some final benefits: posts will be searchable via Google; you can search for members on the board, and so much more! To become a member of the new forum: 1. Go to http://www.psak9forum.com 2. In the upper right hand corner (under the banner), you'll see register. 3. Click on the Register link 4. Answer the question regarding when you were born 5. You'll see the basic legal stuff, click "I agree to these terms" 6. Fill out everything on the registration page, then click Submit. 7. Once you have done that, you will receive an activation email. Open the email, and click the link to finalize the registration. 8. At this point, you'll only have "Basic" access (meaning you won't see everything)... 9. Go in to the Introductions Forum, and click New Topic 10. A box will open where you can post an intro. 11. For your intro, tell us who you are, where you are, do you decoy, do you judge, what dogs do you have, how long have you been involved with PSA (or dogs), and so on. 12. Click Submit...Sometime after, an administrator will go in, and approve you so that you will have the ability to post in all sections. You will know that you've been given this approval because in your Intro topic, there will be a Smilie that tells you that you have access to all the areas. 13. If you are a confirmed and current PSA member, you will also have access to a hidden area at the bottom. This area will have exclusive videos and scenarios. However, please allow the administration a couple of days to confirm your membership. We will get to it, however it may take a few days. Does this make sense? If so, have at it!
