Senorita the lovebird ...

Senorita is the prettiest and most people-friendly lovebird i can imagine. When i brought her home a few years ago, i was amazed at how gorgeous her tail feathers are when she fanned them out for me ... like a senorita's beautiful skirt! Senorita was most happy when i was around, but i got her another lovebird as a companion (a pied green lovebird) called Speckles ... not nearly as sweet a lovebird and i was sure this is because Speckles is a BOY ! Well, a couple weeks later the lovebirds did 'the dance' and whatta shock ... Senorita is the BOY and Speckles is the girl !!! Senorita is now Senor Birdie, and no matter how often they do 'the dance', Speckles only lays infertile eggs !
