Gigi had been having fluid buildup for about a year and a half. They brought her to Tufts in Mass. when they were up there and Tufts did a thorough workup and said it was either liver issues or heart.
I did remind Kenny about rescues and the SPCA. They are not sure if they will get another tiel immediately. As with all first-time tiel owners, they are hooked now, LOL. Kenny refuses to get one and then have to turn around and get on the road immediately in their RV. They want a new tiel to settle in and get stability in their Florida home first. Very responsible attitude and I told him so.
However, (wince) he said that the place they would be looking for another tiel is a big flea market down the road from them.
