I would absolutely hate that! We had a leak under the kitchen sink that we had to replace boards under there. Awful, and that was just a small job!
It's been somewhat cooler, but it still has gotten warm during the days. I pulled out some cozier, warmer clothes, but they are still too much for the day time. 
I just finished parent conferences this week. We had the kids with only a half day and then appts in the afternoon, but it's more tiring than having the kids all day!!! I felt good about all I got done during the times between parents, though. I received a jury summons for the week of Nov 9, so I even was able to prepare for that week, just in case. We had the Halloween carnival on Thursday night and I was sure glad it was a half day on Friday! LOL! Kara and the kids and DH went with me that night and it was fun, but I had duty at the ticket booth from 6 to 6:45. That really is too long when the carnival is just 5:30 - 8:00. The turn out was fantastic, though!!!
