dilemma. I have not had to deal with anything quite like this, but I agree that you should see a lawyer. When my df passed away, we did some things that would help my dm get through some of her difficulties. My ds and I do have power of attorney over some aspects of her life. We cannot touch her money, but we can help her make decisons about certain things that come up. We talked with an attorney, and he helped us with so many little details. I think this would be your best bet, especially since your dm seems to having such a difficult time. My prayers go out to you to help you get through this time and also for safe travel. I am continuing to pray that your housing situation works out and meets whatever needs you have.
