I always hate that the physical body is not keeping up with the mind. I see it in myself, and people older than I am. A man that we know is 95, and sharp as a tack, but his body is failing. He's fallen more than once, and broken bones. :-(
Not a good trait in males. I'm glad that you aren't saddled with him anymore. You are 100x's the person that he ever was, in all ways.
How nice that they came over. I love fried chicken, but really only liked it from a couple of food places. I'd eat it, as you did, but it wasn't always the best. On the other hand, when it was good, I couldn't get enough!
I'm glad that Charlie did so well.
Ds was supposed to have the week off, too, then it turned out that there is a job that needs to be done before the new year, so he will have to work, after all.
I have classic Christmas music, and then really upbeat, not-as-classic Christmas music.
Do you know of Brian Setzer? He was from the Stray Cats, I think. Anyway, I have his Christmas CD, but then saw a show on T.V. with the Brian Setzer Orchestra doing a Christmas show in Santa Barbara. It had to have been filmed within' the last year, because it was after their fires and horrible mud that sucked under houses. I think it was to raise money.
It was really good. Not all Christmas music, though every so many songs were. So, different types of holiday music is how I balance things. Though, Led Zeppelin works for me anytime! :-)
Speaking of classics, it's great that you got the Alastair Sims movie!
Thank you, I'm so hoping that it goes well, and appreciate the candle.
Have a wonderful week, and wonderful coming year.
