We had a lot of rain through Christmas Eve, but then it cleared up, and has been cold since, with 20's at night. The days have been 40's to 50's, but it takes all day to get there. I don't consider 31 at noon hitting that mark early enough.
Next week will be pretty much the same, clear and cold. The next possible rain is supposed to be next weekend. My Drs. appt. was changed to the 2nd, so, once again, at least it won't be raining when I go, but it will be cold, as it's a late appt., and a longer than usual one.
I still can't do much of anything, so not a lot got done again. I still have sharp pains wrapping around from my chest to my shoulder blade, can't breath, cough, move, etc. without a lot of pain. However, some things did happen this week, one of which was that my nebulizer stopped working.
I found old rescue inhalers, but they aren't the same, and make my mouth and tongue break out, which is one reason that I stopped using them.
Ds took the nebulizer apart, since it's past warranty, but the piece that it needs, which is teeny tiny, fell apart, with no replacement available.
He found me the same nebulizer on sale, so I bought it, and it arrived Friday afternoon. Whew!! With it came a new carrying bag, which will be nice when I go out next week.
The dogs and cats enjoyed their Christmas treats. I gave them dried fish flakes meant as a cat treat...they smell like smoked fish...and sprinkled them over all of their dinners. They thought that was pretty good! It was a good sized bag, so I have quite a bit left. Maybe we'll just use it once a week until it's gone. But, Dh did figure out that they should be dampened on the food, otherwise they might get them in their noses with their enthusiasm to smell them! All in all, a success.
How was your week?
