Her TV was fixed and she has watched lots of Christmas movies this past week and especially over the weekends.
We are now in Book Five of the George Sheldon Harry Cat and Tucker Mouse books. There are five more to go. I read one of two chapters a night, depending on how long the chapter is.
I love these books.
I finished re-reading all the Patricia Cornwell books that I have here. Only two were in sequence. I don't recall the titles of the ones I have in MN so hesitate to buy any unless they are in a thrift store.
Not exactly Christmas week reading, but they work for me. Long time ago I knew a mortician. He told interesting stories. Plus I think working in a medical field - and with nurses, gave me some insight. Plus I read lots of books with gore in them. Only rarely do I "Yuck" a book. Lol.
Dgs's books have taken over one of my bookcases. I may poke around in them for something to read. Though it is obvious our likes are worlds apart. LOL.
As a Xmas gift to myself I will be buying season three of the BBC's Broadchurch series with David Tennant (a Dr. Who).
Plus I hope to get the rest of the Dr. Who Dvds I am missing. All of the new Dr. most of the previous Dr and some of Matt Smith's Dr.
I've been buying these for over five years, one or two at a time. Since I do not have a cable I don't watch any programs. I hope by the end of 2019 I will be caught up. Oh and I haven't open even one to watch. I went all the way back to the original Dr Who series. Which are few and far between. I watched them way back when in school. Every Sat..on PBS.
I can't wait to see how long it takes to watch them all in series. LOLOL
Love All Life; Thank You For Posting! :)
