The best that I can do is to say that they are longish, metal, and open using a long-handled opener. When open, there's a screen.
Then, the took my front and back doors, because the weather, and open house, are damaging them. They have a woodworking shop there, and will fix them. The rest of the doors seem okay, now that they've been hung.
I worried about damage, if we couldn't seal the house completely, in and out. Hopefully, that's the only problem that we'll have.
We then got a couple of radical rains. The prediction, and amount that they claim to have had in town, doesn't match what we got. By yesterday, we had the creek jumping the road.
The rain has slowed today, so hopefully the water will recede early. My appt. is quite late today, so I will assume that passage will not be a problem.
Dh did have to miss his 2nd appt. with his new cardiologist, but they didn't have a problem with that. The first appt., which they fit him in unexpectedly for, went very well.
The Dr. wants a couple of changes in his medications, and a change in mgs. on one. The only reason that he wanted to see him again, was that he didn't have whatever-he-needed to check and calibrate his heart device. Apparently, it goes by the company that made it.
Since it was not Dh's fault that he didn't have the correct item with him, he's not charging him for the visit. He just needs to pop in and have it done.
It's nice that he's certified to calibrate, etc., as it will save Dh a longer drive to have it checked on a regular basis.
It looks like it will rain again tomorrow, then Sunday, and every day next week. I hope that, since it's raining anyway, that we get enough this year to break the drought.
Meanwhile, it will be another week and a half of rainy day activities, and hoping that we do not catch the latest bug going around.
Ds's df is quite ill with something very nasty. I don't know what it is, but I really don't want it.
Sluggo loudly insisted on looking out of the door yesterday. She changed her focus quickly, since it was coming down in buckets, and settled on wanting some wet cat food, instead! Good thing, because she wasn't even going onto the porch in that weather, but I let her think that was her idea!
Have a great day!
